About Cradlebug

Why we exist

We built Cradlebug because we couldn't find what we were looking for — a single, reliable place that covered the entire parenting journey from trying to conceive through the teen years, written for both parents equally. Most parenting sites focus on pregnancy and maybe the first year. Most treat dads as an afterthought. We wanted something different.

What we believe

Parenting information should be warm, honest, and research-backed — not clinical, not preachy, and never designed to make you feel like you're doing it wrong. We write the way a knowledgeable friend would talk to you: calmly, specifically, and without judgment.

We also believe dads deserve better than “helpful husband” content. Every page on Cradlebug includes specific, practical guidance for fathers and partners — not as a sidebar, but as a core part of the experience.

How our content is created

Our content is researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, then reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by our editorial team before publication. We reference guidance from established medical organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

We are not medical professionals. Our content is for informational purposes only and is never a substitute for advice from your doctor, midwife, or pediatrician.

Who's behind this

Cradlebug was founded by a parent who wanted to build the resource they wished had existed from day one. We're a small team based in Maryland, operated by Mowla LLC.
